I am obsessed with these Victorian 'star' pendants. They come in different shapes and gemstones, usually similar to this style.
Crafted from 14k yellow gold, there are 53 pearls of varying size, 1 is missing (see picture) and 1 old mine cut diamond in the center that is prong set.
Another popular style with jewelry of this age was to maximize its wearability. This piece can be worn as a pin or as a pendant. If you wear it as a pin, you just turn the bail down and it tucks away inside the piece.
