Gargoyles are often seen as architectural elements as a way to syphon water off of buildings, an early gutter system if you will. Throughout the years however they have taken on a life of their own, now being symbolic of warding off evil spirits and standing sentinel on the edges of buildings.
These earrings showcase the classic face of the stone gargoyles, tongue extended, long beard, and horns. The little faces are at once cute, scary, and definitely unique.
