It is one of my favorite things, it's sterling silver and fully hallmarked with British marks. Every link is stamped with the lion passant which is the British mark for .925 silver (sterling). The fob spins and has two stones-bloodstone (aka heliotrope) on one side and what I can only figure is red glass on the other.
It measures 13" long and has a T bar which was placed in to the gentleman's pocket in order to anchor the watch so it wouldn't fall out.
The fob is fully hallmarked with; an anchor-the mark for the Birmingham assay office, the lion passant-the mark for .925 silver content, and the letter 'h' which corresponds to the year 1907.
The chain is graduated, the links on the ends are smaller then those in the middle.
There is also P&T which is the maker's mark and I believe is the company Pearce & Thompson.
